» FriendFinder and BigChurch’s New Feature: Annoying Low Paying Ads

Toronto Dating | Advertising,bigchurch.com,Business Models,FriendFinder | Monday, November 24th, 2008

I just noticed that FriendFinder and BigChurch (and likely every other site they run) has moved towards adding 728×90 banner ads across the top and bottom of their pages – joining many other dating services with this venture. You can tell it’s low-paying remnant ad inventory type stuff as well. Are they really making enough from ads to put their membership through that annoyance? Secondly, if you’re a paying member should you have to put up with that?
